Really proud to have mastered a couple of tracks for The Menahan Street Band (#3 and #7) for their latest album “The Crossing”.
Have a listen to the album on the Daptone site.
“In addition to their role as the official house band for Brooklyn-based Dunham Records, Menahan Street Band has received critical praise for their oft-sampled 2008 debut album Make The Road By Walking (sampled by Jay-Z, 50 Cent, Kid Cudi, Curren$y and more) and for backing breakout soul singer Charles Bradley on his 2011 debut album No Time For Dreaming (co-written and produced by MSB co-founder and multi-instrumentalist Thomas Brenneck).”

Charles Bradley — truly gifted and soulful artist. I had the pleasure to work with him through the Daptone guys (whom I love)… love all their stuff.
Mr. Bradley has one of those voices and the soulful grooves of The Menahan Street Band backing him… very sweet indeed!
“Stay Away” and “Mary’s Baby” both showcase Charles Bradley and were mastered by your’s truly. So be sure to check it out!
The Menahan Street Band - “Waiting For Irene” Really enjoyed this project… Also, look out for “Come A Little Closer” — sounds killer!
Really well done, like all the other Daptone music. (Thanks for this one Thomas)
